About London & Reading Developments

London & Reading has its roots in Reading, Berkshire where it began trading as G.B. Osborne Chemist at 105 Wokingham Road. The original premises, which still serve as a chemist today, provided the momentum for a second outlet in Broad Street in the centre of Reading.

In 1989 John Osborne, grandson of the original owner, diversified the business into property. The name was changed to London & Reading Developments. The original shop is still owned by him today.

In 1996 London & Reading formed a joint venture London & Sheffield Developments Ltd with J.F Finnegan Ltd of Sheffield and later in 2003 took full control of the company.

Today, we have a wide range of interests and continue to trade successfully with many high value properties in prime locations in and around London and Reading.
